Training Resources and Curriculum Content

In collaboration with TechChange, DIAL has produced a series of tools, resources, and materials that donors can use to institutionalize technology and digital best practices into their work, and educate their organizations internally on digital development. These materials will address a current gap in products and/or knowledge amongst staff at donor organizations in order to improve donors’ operating processes and, by extension, the outcomes of their programs.

Digital Principles 101 Training
This curriculum is intended to briefly introduce development practitioners to what the Principles for Digital Development are, show how they can be applied practically to their work and share examples of good technology use in development programs. The workshop should be designed in a way that it can be easily adapted to specific contexts, such as inclusion in an orientation program. The target audience for this sort of training is any staff engaging on programs that use technology in their delivery (i.e. program managers, contracting officers, evaluators, etc.).
